
Our internal training team aim to provide relevant learning and development opportunities which are carefully designed to support employees at every stage of their careers.
As part of the annual performance review process, every employee has a Personal Development Plan to help identify the most appropriate learning and development opportunities for them.
As such, many training and development opportunities are available to staff, including:
- Full induction training for all new employees
- Structured on-the-job program’s
- Technical training
- IT training
- A wide range of personal skills workshops, such as Project Management, Communication Skills, Time Management, Creative Thinking and Effective Meetings
- A wide range of workshops designed to help managers with their responsibilities, such as: Practical Management and Supervisory Skills, Absence Management, Recruitment and Selection, Training Techniques and Team Coaching
- Leadership Development Program’s
- Team Building and Away Days
- Coaching
- Financial Support and study leave for relevant external training and professional qualifications.
In order to accommodate different learning styles and the wide spectrum of job profiles across the Household, employees are able to choose from a variety of development approaches all designed to be interactive, stimulating, challenging, but above all enjoyable.
Examples include breakfast seminars, lunchtime learning sessions, e-learning, company-wide learning days and full/half day workshops. In addition, those who prefer to take a self-guided approach to development have access to a resource library containing information sheets, books, DVDs and CDs.
